Metal trade

Ya know I sit and watch metal transported thru warrens area from time to time and I wonder where it's coming from. I see people of all ages moving metal, some that look like they are school age ferrying this material to n fro. Is the metal trade still an issue??

Processed Meats Declared Too Dangerous for Human Consumption

Processed Meats Declared Too Dangerous for Human Consumption

Interesting bit of reading here. I've steadily been cutting down my intake of this stuff for a while [except the previous semester when i ate a million billion Esso hotdogs] cause they just didnt feel right. felt and tasted like puke.

now i have a real reason to stop

End of one journey is near ...

... so it was an unusually emotional day today even though no ears were shed, at least not for me to see. the final exam for a number of persons I've shared my last two years very closely. I'm talking about the MSc class I had the pleasure of participating in. Even though we aren't quite finished, some of us have cleared the significant hurdle of completing all our taught classes, which means it just down to a research paper and voila. it didnt really sink home how significant the exam was until we parted ways the afternoon before hand as we were doing our customary pre-exam review, where we 'peer teach' to help clarify any lagging misconceptions which we may have.It would be the last time we do it as a group in that forum.

After the exam some of us got together for an unplanned celebratory gathering in a room that was our home for two years. We recounted the laughs, cries, struggles, triumphs that shaped us. ... we can taste victory within our reach.

hopefully I can make a post in the coming months reporting on our completion.

In Prison My Whole Life ... story of Mumia Abu-Jamal

http://www.inprisonmywholelife.com/intro

Every now and then I watch a documentary that moves me, for different reasons. This particular flick started out like any other, but the scenes with the Move group and the action taken by government officers by bombing their building really struck a chord for me.

I am doing a bit more reading on the group but it seems unimaginable to me that the appropriate action for a group of activists is murder.

Nevertheless, take a glance at it, I am sure it will get the grey matter percolating.
